Debbie – Office Manager

Debbie is the Office Manager for our office in Poway, CA for Drs. Langenbach and Thomas. She is responsible for maintaining surgery schedules for patients, and coordinating care from the initial consultation forward for each patient. She has worked in dentistry since 1982, first as a Registered Dental Assistant, then she transitioned to the front office. As Office Manager, Debbie delights in coming to work every day with her encouraging co-workers in a fun and positive working environment. We are just as excited to have her on our team. Debbie considers it a job well done when satisfied patients return for their follow-up visits pleased and happy with their healthy smiles. Debbie married her high school sweetheart, and they have two sons. When she is not working, Debbie loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new places, and indulging in a glass of wine while reading a good book or watching a classic movie.


Dana – Treatment Coordinator

As the treatment coordinator Dana strives to help new and existing patients understand the cost and value of each individual treatment plan. Dana has been in the dental field since 1987 and started out as a Registered Dental Assistant. Dana makes herself available to ensure all questions are answered both financially and clinically before treatment begins. Dana loves when a pleased patient returns for their follow-up visit happy with the outcome from a cosmetic or restorative dental procedure. When she is not working, Dana loves cooking and spending quality time with her family.


Fran – Administrative Assistant

For more than 6 years, Fran has served as our Administrative Assistant with both clinical and administrative duties. She does her best to help patients fill out their paperwork, make sure they completely fill out their medical histories, and keep them comfortable throughout their visit at our practice. In addition, she diligently submits and tracks all insurance claims and will graciously help patients understand their benefits before treatment begins. Fran used to work in Human Resources before switching over to the dental world. Fran says that she is happy to be a part of the team, and having the opportunity to learn about the amazing world of dentistry.


Washma – Registered Dental Hygienist

Washma has worked in the dental field since 1999. She started her career as an assistant, but she went back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Washma says that developing special bonds with her patients while cleaning their teeth makes the job so worthwhile, and it brings so much joy and excitement to her job. Washma tries to be as gentle and caring as she can, especially when she has a nervous or anxious patient in the chair. Washma also loves being a wife and mother. With a son and daughter at home, Washma enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, cooking delicious meals, and traveling around the world.


Patty – Registered Dental Hygienist

Patty started her career in dentistry as an assistant, and was motivated to go to school to become a hygienist. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1985 with a B.A. in Dental Hygiene. Patty then began working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for Dr. Langenbach and Dr. Thomas in 1995, and says it is a pleasure and honor to be affiliated with this team. She takes dental preventative care very seriously, and will carefully explain any treatment or procedure to a patient who asks. Patty loves being a wife and mother, and her time off from work is filled with driving her children to their various sport activities (soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, and softball), camping, riding quads, and volunteering at school and church.


Michelle – Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist, Michelle, started her hygienist career in 1992. She grew up in Torrance, CA, and relocated to San Diego, CA in 1998 with her husband. Michelle has a patient-first attitude when it comes to providing outstanding preventive dental care, and makes sure each patient is completely comfortable while in the dentist chair. It is also her responsibility to assess each patient’s teeth and gums to make sure there are no signs of disease or abnormalities. Michelle is known for her upbeat demeanor, and loves sharing stories while cleaning teeth. Michelle is a valuable asset to our team.


Lilya – Registered Dental Assistant

Lilya loves making a difference in other people’s lives when she is at work with Dr. Thomas and Dr. Langenbach as a Registered Dental Assistant. She teaches patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (tooth brushing, flossing, and what foods to avoid) to maintain excellent oral health between cleanings and check-ups. Lilya assists our doctors by following all infection control protocol, and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Personally interacting with the patients at this practice, Lilya gets a lot of job satisfaction by knowing that she helped someone with a valuable health service. Lilya is a great member of our team.


Michelle D. – Receptionist

Michelle has worked in our office since 1999 and is our very personable Receptionist and is also a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. She is the friendly voice on the other end of the line when you call to schedule an appointment (initial or follow-up), and Michelle is also responsible for maintaining treatment schedules for patients. Michelle says that her job brings her a great deal of joy and satisfaction. Michelle is known to bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the office, and for entertaining patients to make the trip to the dentist more enjoyable.


Jessica – Registered Dental Assistant

Jessica was born and raised in Escondido. While going to college as a Criminology major she was also going through Orthodontic treatment. Because of the care she received and the positive outcome of the treatment she decided to change her major and become a dental assistant. Jessica loves helping patients to understand how dentistry plays a part in their complete health. When outside the office, Jessica likes to go hiking and spend time with her boyfriend and family.

Jackie – Registered Dental Assistant

Jackie is a native of San Diego. The most important things to Jackie is the patient experience while in the office and the quality of dentistry provided. She loves to make patients feel safe, comforted and educated about their oral health. On her free time, Jackie likes to spend time with her four dogs, go backpacking. She is a foodie & likes to try new restaurants.
